One Love x The Nive Nulls
OL: Can you tell us a little bit about how this whole journey began (YouTube stardom and entrepreneurship); and what it’s been like since starting to where you guys are today?
AN: We started making videos in March 2010 after discovering the Shaytards (the first family of YouTube). We thought they were so fun and cool and we wanted to make videos like them. We started out just having fun and using YouTube as a way to express our quirky creativity but as time went on it turned into something much bigger. I would research how to be an efficient, successful YouTuber, how to brand yourself online, etc. and just hustled to grow our audience and

now we’re an incorporated family business.
OL: What has been the most heartwarming moment since starting on YouTube and what has also been the most shocking?
AN: The birth of both of our children was personally heartwarming. To be able to look back at the videos is amazing as well. It’s also been heartwarming to hear the hundreds of stories from our viewers about how our simple goofy videos have been able to make an impact on their lives in a powerful way.
We’ve heard stories of people losing family members and using our videos as a way to find happiness in the midst of it.

We’ve had someone tell us she was going to have an abortion but after watching our videos and seeing the love we have for our kids and as a family, she decided not to go through with it and wanted to love her child. I’d say the most shocking thing is that people continue to watch and our channel continues to grow and we’re able to continually grow our brand.
OL: Who are Austin and Britt (Null) really?
What inspires and motivates them; what are some things most viewers probably
don’t know about you two (behind the scenes)?
AN: Haha! Honestly, we’re the exact people you see in the videos. We show the good and the bad. We don’t really hold anything back. I think that is why people watch because they know we’re not trying to fake drama for views or put out an altered version of our true self. They like us because we’re open and honest in the way we approach our videos.
OL: The importance of love and family is central theme of your channel; do you guys have any advice or insights into maintaining a loving and positive environment,
especially with raising kids nowadays?
AN: Uh…date nights?! LOL. No I’d say just make sure you always put family first. I tend to get caught up in the numbers and business of YouTube sometimes and Brittany is great at reminding me that our family is most important and that’s what we need to focus on above all else. I’d say be patient, enjoy time together as a couple when the kids go down for naps/bedtime and take some time for yourself once a week or so.
OL: What does the phrase, “One Love” mean to you guys;
do you think you see enough of it in your lives?
NN: Personally, I’d say it means God’s Love which is the love that surpasses all our understanding. It’s the ultimate love that was shown to us (me) and that I need to strive to give out in my own life. To give it to my wife, my kids, friends and strangers…it’s the most powerful love and it guides our life. :)
